

How to delete an Instagram post?
Instagram is a great app that allows its users to share pictures and videos and help connect people. It operates on a vast basis to put it in numbers; on average, about 90 million photos and videos are posted on Instagram almost every day.
Sometimes you don't want a particular post in your profile because it doesn't go with your Instagram aesthetic, or it can be simply because you don't like it anymore. - Open Instagram.
- Tap on the profile icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select the post you want to delete.
- Tap on the options icon on the top right corner of the post.
- Select the delete option.
- Confirm by tapping on the delete option again.

How to delete an Instagram post on your PC
Step 1: Open Instagram
This one is obvious. Go to your browser and search for Instagram.com, and log in.
Step 2: Profile Icon
On the top right corner, you will locate your profile icon tap on it.
Step 3: Selection
Now that you are on the profile grid, you can go ahead and select the post you want to delete.
Step 4: Deleting
Go to the post, and you will be able to see 3 dots on the top right corner, and a pop-up box appears showing you options share, archive, delete, edit etc.

Select the delete option in the pop-up

Step 1: Open Instagram
Go to your phone menu and search for the Instagram app icon in there, and tap on it and open your Instagram app.
Step 2: Profile Icon
On the bottom right corner, you will locate your profile icon tap on it.

Step 4: Deleting
Go to the post, and you will be able to see 3 dots on the top right corner, and a pop-up box appears showing you options share, archive, delete, edit etc.
Step 5: Confirmation

If you are looking for a temporary option compared to deleting, you can archive your post instead of deleting your post. The steps are as follows.
Step 6: Archive
Go to the post, and you will see 3 dots on the top right corner, and a pop up appears showing you options share, archive, delete, edit etc. Tap on archive to archive the post
Conclusion
Suppose, after deleting the post, you have second thoughts on it. In that case, Instagram allows you to restore the deleted picture within 30 days of its deletion. You just have to go to the hamburger option present on the top right of your Instagram profile, go to settings then account, then proceed to go recently deleted vote.
Once there, you can select the deleted post and restore it or permanently delete it. After choosing to restore, Instagram sends an OTP to your email or number. Once the authentication is done, the post is corrected.
