If you want to hide likes for a new post, then follow these steps:

Step 1. Open Instagram

Grab your smartphone and search for Instagram among your list of apps. Tap on it.

Step 2. Create a post

Create a post that contains either a photo or video, or both. Swipe

the home page to the right, and you will be redirected to the front camera.

Below you can see options such as "post," "reel," story," etc. Tap on "Post."

Step 3. Advanced settings

After you are done editing the post, you will be redirected to a page where you can add captions, tags, location etc.

On the bottom of the page, tap "Advanced Settings."

Step 4. Hide Likes

On the top, you will see an option "Hide likes and view counts on this post." Tap it.
